A 21-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting death of a 19-year-old man who was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon at his south Minneapolis apartment building.

Jordan Carson Adams was shot in his abdomen about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at his apartment in the 2100 block of 3rd Avenue S., according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died.

Police said Friday that another man was arrested in the case.

Dan Largen, operations manager for the building's owner, said other tenants in the building had been informing him of "lots of traffic and noise" coming from the third-floor residence.

Resident Sarah Wondra said she has "heard arguing" in the apartment where the shooting occurred. Police told her a bullet from the shooting pierced her kitchen wall, ricocheted off a cabinet and landed on her stove.
