Chester 'Gene' Mady

Mady, Chester "Gene" age 84 of Coon Rapids, formerly of Columbia Heights. Preceded in death by wife, Joanne. Survived by sons, Bret (Mary) and Bart; daughters, Sheryl (Perry) Olson and Kathy (Jon) Ek; 9 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren; sister, Collette "Cookie" (Terry) Knopik. Chester was a 48 year owner of Mady's Bowling Center. He was an inductee in the Mpls USBC Hall of Fame, Past State President of the BPAA and a founder of the Las Vegas style bowling league. Avid traveler and most recently with his friend, Catherine. Visitation Wednesday, December 13, 4-7 PM at Washburn- McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 14, 10:30 AM in the Church of the Epiphany, 11001 Hanson Blvd, Coon Rapids. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Epiphany Cemetery.
