Good morning commuters!

The second day of lane restrictions on I-694 through Brooklyn Center and Fridley didn't bring the massive backups like it did on Monday. In fact, traffic moved better through the work zone than on many other routes. We'll see how things play out on the third day of the project, which has 694 reduced to two lanes in each direction from Hwy. 100 to East River Road.

In Bloomington, we've got some overnight road work in place on 494 in the area of Penn Avenue. MnDOT also is working on northbound Hwy. 169 at Anderson Lakes Pkwy.

Ahead, a reminder that Hwy. 169 is reduced to a single lane in each direction from the Crosstown to Hwy.7 for bridge repair.

I'll be keeping tabs on this morning's commute, and I could use your help. If you see any problems, delays or issues on the roads, leave a comment here, send me an email (drive@startribune.com) or a tweet @stribdrive.

Make it a good day.
