8:20 a.m. update: Commute travel times remain solid

This morning's only real accident was on Westbound I- 494 at 12th Av. and has now cleared. The travel times around the Twin Cities metro area are moderate to fast.

This morning's first accident has partially blocked the right lane on Westbound I- 494 at 12th Av.

Tim Harlow covers traffic and transportation issues in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and likes to get out of the office, even during rush hour. He also covers the suburbs in northern Hennepin and all of Anoka counties, plus breaking news and weather.
