Mainline roads are currently crash free, but earlier wrecks, foggy conditions and heavy traffic volumes are making for a very slow commute.

Southbound Hwy. 100 is now at 25 minutes from I-94 to 394. Southbound Hwy. 169 is moving at about the same pace.

Westbound 94 continues to sputter along from the Hudson bridge into downtown St. Paul, a 25-minute drive. Ahead, things remain tight over to Hwy. 280.

Levels are building on 494 through Richfield and Bloomington. Westbound slows from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100 while things are thick eastbound from Hwy. 169 to 35W.

Northbound Cedar Avenue has pockets of slow and go traffic from McAndrews Road up to the Minnesota River bridge.

Roads remain wet as a light rain is falling in parts of the metro. Prepare for slower drives than usual.
